Saturday was our First Annual Golf Tournament - It was a great success!!! We had a great weather and a good turnout for the event. There were a few low scores and many high scores but we all had fun. It was cool to see everyone on the course away from the beach. Big mahalo to Tony for organizing the event and big mahalo to all who donated prizes. We had prizes for everyone and the grand prize was a Sony Digital Camera with Photo Printer!!! That was won by Janner Asuncion - good job Janner! Sunday I surfed my 'Secret spot' and had a blast!!! 1 - 3 feet nice offshore winds and a really mellow crowd.
TGIF!!! Friday morning gave us some small but fun waves and it stayed glassy until about 8am. I surfed Big Rights again this morning then paddled to Courts to surf some more.
Nelson is back - Nelson is back in the water after his knee surgery - good to see him surfing again.

Mostly small with an occasional 2 footer but the winds were onshore early. I went to Big Rights to surf near my sister who made a rare early appearance at Concessions. Big Rights was fun with only a few out.
I finshed the May movie early - check it out!
Waves are smaller than yesterday but still glassy in the morning. Tomorrow will be even smaller.
Another great morning of glassy and good surf - with light crowd - I love it!
Happy Memorial Day!!!
The surf was fun this morning maybe 3 feet - at times good, at times flat, pretty crowded all the time. I rode my LB and hung around the inside most of the time.
We had Monday dinner at Kikuya in Kalihi - good food and lots of it.

I wasn't going to post today but then I read CT's blog and saw his Prime Rib - then I thought I better show him my lunch. Today we celebrated Leighton's 42nd birhtday at Hale Ikena at Fort Shafter. The food is great, if had Crab legs it would be awesome. It was nice to see the 'wives' and see Aily getting so big.
Proud Papa with family.
Funny faces Salads were good Mixed entrees Prime Rib with side bacon
What a day!!! I surfed the morning, it was kind of like yesterday - glassy with head high sets. I brought my good camera and got some good shots. Then we went for breakfast at Kakaako Kitchen - hoo-hoo Loco Moco for me. Then back to the beach for a second session. The surf was bigger but slight onshore - so much waves with light crowd.
Here's some shots from today - check the main site for more.
I'll call it 'Fireman' Friday - just to continue with this week's theme. The waves were just like yesterday only with way more people. Still lots of fun waves especially on the inside bowl.
Hats off to Kerry for scoring the 'Wave of the Day' - There was only 1 - a beautiful SOLID GLASSY PERFECT 3 footer - everyone was drooling over it.
Side note: On my way to work I saw this SUP on a truck - check it out he made it himself.
Check the low tide Homemade paddle Homemade SUP board - actually very nice
Believe me or not but early this morning the surf was GOOD (I'll call it 'Epic' Thursday).
Head high sets with like 5 waves in the set - and 5 guys out! Then about 6:45 it DIED! How can the surf go from good to bad so fast? I'm just glad I was there to get the good!
