A pretty good morning of surf. Slight offshore winds, solid 3 foot sets and light crowd - what more can you ask for? Maybe a foot bigger and more consistent? Sure. I rode my longboard and had a blast but my arms are a little tired.
The April video is out - check it out!
I also added a link on the right to all the YouTube videos.
We got back from Disneyland late last night so I was tired this morning but I had to surf. There were some NICE waves with nice winds, I managed to get a few good waves even though I was feeling tired and a little shaky from not surfing for a week. As I was driving to work the winds switched to straight onshore.
Stay tuned for some Disney Pics!
When you're in a store walking past the magazine rack check out the latest Hawaii Skin Diver magazine. Inside is an article about my Indo trip written by Eric one of the divers. There a picture of me holding a Spanish Mackerel and has some of the photographs I took. If you like I can sign your copy - no charge. haha!
Waves came up, maybe 3 feet on a few good waves.
Winds started out West, then clocked all around and ended up North-East and blowing hard at times.
There were some waves but they felt weak - not exactly an Epic session.
I'm off to Disneyland tomorrow morning - catch some waves for me while in gone.
I was hoping for a 'Magic Monday" we had everything but the waves. Try again tomorrow.
Surf was a little smaller but still super glassy in the morning. Big mahalo to Tony my photographer this morning - keep checking for the April video coming soon.
I can't believe we leave for Disneyland this Wednesday. If the surf gets good when I'm gone, please give me the credit for making 'the sacrifice'.
I forgot to post the surf report yesterday and almost forgot today. Work has been crazy-busy, in fact I'm at work right now - Saturday!
Friday morning the winds were perfect but the waves were weak and inconsistent - had some but I wanted more.
Saturday morning the winds were good again and the waves were smaller BUT there seemed to be more waves and hardly anybody out. I had fun this morning.
Where should I surf tomorrow?
Crappier - it that a word? I had high hopes of total glassiness, instead we had lumpiness. Beautiful morning with junk waves.
To those who surfed yesterday morning: You are welcome. My 'sacrifice' provided you good waves and conditions.
To those who DID NOT surf this morning: You are fortunate. Small and windy.
Please raise your hand if you will stay home tomorrow - to give us good waves tomorrow.
I didn't surf today becuase I had to go work early. Please tell me it was junk and crowded.
