Tony said was good yesterday but today is not yesterday. Perfect day for SUP. Small but fun - we've been having a lot of those days recently - I'm ready for Big and Fun.
Almost Christmas - everyone done with shopping?
Dawn and I did the Marathon - not run it, but ride our bikes to check it out!
We're on our way.
Sunrise or Dawn - our favorite time.
This is the first year Dawn rode her own bike, she used to ride in a kid's bike seat on my bike. She's growing up so fast.
From the archives - Dawn 2 years ago.
It was a nice cool morning.
Everybody looking strong and fresh, just wait a few hours they'll be looking a little tired.
My favorite part was to see Darth Vader.
Dawn's favorite part was getting a Manapua from 7-11.

Congratulations to Greg Long for winning the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational.
I heard Kelly Slater was leading all day until Greg got a big one. I was rooting for a Hawaiian to win, would've been cool if Sunny won it.
Waves: 1 - 2 feet
Wind: Light and variable
Another morning with perfect conditions and small waves. There was some West wrapping in making for some good West bowls. It was just freezing this morning, must have been the coldest morning this year. My car read 70 but it felt way colder.
Just in case you didn't know the Eddie is on!!!
Sent from my iPhone

Last night was our annual Christmas party. It was held at the Natsunoya Tea House in Alewa heights. What can I say good food and good fun - I enjoyed it! Each year it just gets better and better.
Dawn was still sick but wanted to attend - she had fun but ran out of energy near the end.

I tried to get a shot of everyone - sorry if I missed you.
Huge MAHALO to Darek, Charlene, Miles, Susan and everyone else who helped. Great Job!
Also can't forget to congratulate Mr. Mike Kim for accepting the honor of planning the event for next year. Go Mike and Shere!
I made a short video for the party but forgot to show it. My tribute to Hawaii Five-0.
Waves: 1 - 2.5 feet
Wind: Light but shifty - started out West then slowly swung around to North.
Everyone had high hopes and the beach was crowded in the dark. We all were disappointed with the lumpy sloppy peaky surf we got. Looks like conditions were improving as we left - but too late for us 'worker bees'.

My Dawnie is sick, last night she had 103 fever - so I'm taking her doctor today.
Waves: 1 - 2 feet
Wind: Awesome light north winds
Slight increase from yesterday with awesome conditions. I wish I could surf all day, probably get better with the dropping tide.
