Weekend Report 07-05-2009

Happy Fourth of July!!!!

We spent the weekend (from Thursday) at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. It's always great to stay there and this time was no different. We had an awesome room 31st floor (Penthouse level) facing Magic Island. For us it's all about getting good grinds, playing in the water and watching the Fireworks.

The epitome of 'Good and Cheap' is definitely the Wailana Coffee House. All you can eat pancakes for $5.75 served with two eggs and two strips of bacon. Dawn's breakfast of pancakes, bacon and eggs was $2.50.

Wailana doesn't just have breakfast we went back for lunch too.

       Bacon & Eggs              Pancakes                 Grilled Cheese         Kalbi & Fried Rice         Hamburger

Pool and beach we did it all - many times a day.

There was Fireworks on Friday and Saturday.

I was going to surf Three's if it was good but the call for 'Big Friday' didn't seem to materialize. but I was stoked to see my shot that JB took - thanks JB!
